Abramson Senior Care Welcomes New Nursing Home Administrator

We are excited to announce that Annie Varughese, NHA, is joining the Abramson Center for Jewish Life as the new nursing home administrator.
Annie is replacing Brenda Decker, whose last day is Friday, October 9th, 2020. Annie will provide leadership with coordination and operational functions for the Residence, as well as serve as the lead person on interpreting regulatory compliance and coordinate all aspects of Department of Health, Medicaid and Medicare surveys. Annie is an experienced nursing home administrator and most recently worked at the Philadelphia Protestant Home. In addition to her PA Nursing Home Administrator’s license, Annie has a Master’s of Nursing degree.
Annie has been working alongside Brenda to transition into the NHA role. We wish Brenda well as she pursues a new opportunity and thank her for her leadership through the past three years.
