Barbara Lincow Recognized by Abramson Auxiliary

Thursday April 26, 2018

Barbara Lincow was honored at Abramson Auxiliary’s Tribute Luncheon on Tuesday, April 10th at a luncheon held at the Abramson Center.

Mrs. Lincow has been a dedicated and active volunteer with Abramson’s Auxiliary since 2002 and an Abramson trustee since 1996. During that time, she has been instrumental in successful fundraising campaigns, developing and implementing activities and events for the seniors served by Abramson, and providing leadership on many committees. Along with her sister Nina Goldfarb, of blessed memory, she started the Abramson Center’s Resident Luncheon program, a special lunch with Jewish music, jokes and trivia, which she now hosts for 15 residents on a quarterly basis. She is known by all at Abramson for her enthusiasm, warmth and compassion.

The Auxiliary of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life sponsors a variety of programs and recreational activities that enhance the quality of life for the Center’s residents and for clients of the Abramson Medical Adult Day Services in Northeast Philadelphia. Auxiliary members volunteer their time to coordinate events and assist seniors in participating in activities.
