NBC10 Anchor Tracy Davidson Speaks at Auxiliary Luncheon

Thursday November 3, 2016

Tracy Davidson, Emmy Award-winning journalist and anchor at Philadelphia’s NBC10 News Today, was the guest speaker at the annual Membership Luncheon of the Auxiliary of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life. The event, held on October 27th, raised $17,500 to benefit the older men and women served by the Abramson Center.

During the luncheon, over 170 guests enjoyed Ms. Davidson’s talk about how digital distractions steal our attention from what matters most in our lives. An advocate for breast cancer awareness, Ms. Davidson also spoke passionately about her battle with breast cancer and the importance of prevention and trusting your instincts. The afternoon also featured a handbag and jewelry auction, and a gift basket raffle.

The Auxiliary of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life sponsors a variety of programs and recreational activities that enhance the quality of life for the Center’s residents and for clients of the Abramson Medical Adult Day Services in Northeast Philadelphia. Auxiliary members volunteer their time to coordinate events and assist seniors in participating in activities. For more information about the Auxiliary, please go here
