To celebrate the Abramson Center's 150th anniversary, the Center, Penn State College of Nursing and the National Hartford Centers of Gerontological Nursing Excellence will present a full day research symposium highlighting the special relationship between researchers and care providers.
"Knowledge into Action: How Interprofessional Partnerships Improve Person Centered Outcomes of Older Adults" will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Abramson Center for Jewish Life. Presentations will be given by Abramson Center and Penn State experts and will cover topics such as Cognitive Health, Non-Pharmacological Approaches to Anti-Psychotic Reduction and Mental Health, Technology Use: Home and Community Transitions and Preference-Based Person Centered Care.
The day will begin with registration and a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. A lunch will also be served.
Registration is $35.00 per person. Continuing education credits are available for registered nurses.
